She dragged me up from my bed and tickled my feet just to wake me up at 11ish...This is my mum, naughty her always makes me laugh xD
My stress free period starts now. Officially. All I did for the day was to sort out photos, sing, and remove some files from my phone so to empty some space to download some apps.
The main event for the day was to welcome my step siblings who would be come at 6ish. Before that, she asked me to help her to extend the table somehow. I would always recommend her not to overdo something but she just never listened. In particular, she was more than forcing to pull the table so it caused a line underneath because of the screw made when she slid the separable part backward. I got yelled at for being clumsy. I knew how I didn't know where some equipment or appliances are would only drive her even more mad, but it wasn't like I wanted to be like this. But yeh, she ceased her anger til I found out there was actually a button under somewhere to close off the screw poking out...And we finally found out way to slide the table properly without damaging it...
Yes, the night was awesome because I got to finally meet up with his kids in my house. They were both quite awkward in the beginning since they walked in. I tried to be a nicest step sister as I could be by smiling at them all the time whatever I said. His daughter then talked to me for a bit. And we had a warm family time having hot pot. Mum was really keen on serving for all of us. She tried so hard to talk to Lulu with her imperfect English whilst Lulu would occasionally correct her and make sure she understood what she said. I felt glad that a 13-year-old girl was willingly to teach her how to speak proper English. So that's how everything started. Throughout the night, we joked around the education, had some opinions about both democratic and communist countries but this was only for him and I. He really wanted to listen to my thoughts towards all these. Oh and she showed them all my cubes. They both found those interesting to learn so constantly calling my name for help. That was my first time ever to feel privileged being a big sister in a family. And I exceptionally cherished that moment of having a family talk with 3 more people sitting around our table. Lulu even went to the kitchen asking mum if she needed some help for washing dishes. I heard them talking in the kitchen for a bit too.
Oh of course that great moment when she carried that exercise board out from my room, and asked them to try it on to see how it feels like. That was one of the best ways to lose weight, as recommended. The kids couldn't wait to stand on it, along with their giggling saying how this vibration works well. Then he stood on it lastly, with everyone around supporting him on the side. We all had so much fun, as if we really have already become one family from that moment.
They hugged us before they left...I meant, I'm glad that we've met them because from mum's face, I could see something more than happiness, and that is, what is beyond valued in my eyes...

Great laugh at Darling harbour (7th of November)
It would be nice if I could finish my media final essay one day earlier so I didn't need to wake up at 6am today to do the rest. (Almost 6 hours working on that 500 words+editing+referencing which I considered it as a productive sesh)
He came to our house an hour before I went out. Knowing that he would take his kids to come tomorrow, I had this indescribable feeling not knowing what to say. I mean, I just can't wait to see his kids. I feel like, soon I will be having two step siblings..
So I didn't know owner had to do some cleaning before we met up. I wasn't even informed til I said I would be going to the city soon right after I finished my essay. What happened next? I was a bit unhappy by saying I've thought too much and that somebody just didn't care at all...
Sometimes not everything is designed to cheer you up, there may be something let you down when you reach the peak of happiness. And this is it. That was the first time Tao let me down...
But soon after we met up, we were back to normal. He hugged me from behind without me knowing. We held hands and walked across the road, discussing where we should go. Since we didn't really have an exact destination to go to today. Instead of thinking hard to the place we would be staying, I suggested to go AIT. He agreed.
On our way to AIT, I told him so much about my classes, the people I met as well as our teacher, the Taiwanese one who got teased by the students. Later I taught him how to use two programs in one of the rooms at AIT. He was being a great listener on the side listening to my brilliant lesson xD I always know that he's a fast learner, so I basically taught him everything as I should within an hour. His brain must have processed hell lots of new information at once. During the time I explained things, he would casually ask me some questions at some certain points.
After that, we headed to Surry hills to have our dinner. On the bus, naughty me was attempted to tickle my dear owner with my filthy left hand, he then instantly stopped me by blocking my left hand with his tight huggies. With the help from his right hand, he tightly gripped both of my hands and stopped them from sliding through his thigh. Finally we got to this Japanese restaurant where it is a bit further down from where we dropped off. But the price for the two dishes we ordered wasn't that worthy.
We shared that sparkling romance whilst we were waiting for the bus back to Central. Our next destination was darling harbour where we lied on the grass whilst watching that lively crowd right there at the restaurants in front of our faces. Too much fun poking each other on the waists, and bragging about our looks. Especially when I told him how my friend said one of the Taiwanese stars and I look alike, he then said we do look alike but not the frontal face, the back instead.>.> He asked my filthy hand to stop caressing his tummy, just incase if accident happened, if you get what I mean *winks*
Lastly we joked around the shape of my face at the train station. Later we couldn't stop that laughter til we both choked. Because before that, I called him as my little apple after I let him listen to that song with my earphones on our way back. He suggested there should be one day we would sing and dance together :3 Yes, we definitely should!!!

Final sprint (6th of November)
I don't think I will ever lose any concentration during this day, this is my final sprint...Yes it is, the deadline is tomorrow 9pm. But for me, my own deadline would be tomorrow morning, because I have to hang out with somebody for our mini celebration.
Starting from 6am today, I kept working on the rest of my essay by looking for usable resources, writing/re-writing up my contents, wishing to finish it as quickly as possible. Though I became a bit sleepy at 12ish, I still tried to make myself awake by listening to 'lucky strike' for couple times.
Congratulation to somebody who's done with his 20 mins presentation :3 And lucky that his diarrhea happened after his presentation or else...>.> Btw it's time for you to rest a bit, at least one day lol...Then go back to start working on your literature reviews and all after tomorrow...Yes....research students are really really busy I know...
So yeh...nothing much to talk about, except for finishing off most of my epic essay as my main goal for the day. To make sure everything is perfectly linked together, a lot of post-editing has to be done, so that has spent me another a few hours for each paragraph. Sometimes I find some contents are not relatable, as in it might sound a bit coming out of nowhere in a sense or a bit deviated from the original writing direction. It's hard to keep everything universal in respond to the discussion of that proposition in the first place, especially a lot of doubts are remained during the time I wrote it. But yes, I finally reached 2200+ words towards the end of the night.
Horray....I would leave the rest for tomorrow morning...

Impressive screen editing class (5th of November)
Such a fail plan to wake up at 5ish. Knowing fairly well that I couldn't be awaken no matter how many alarms I set up, slack kid is still one slack kid...>.>
I had my morning class at 9ish, but I was half an hour late for that. By the time I got there, there was a few faces that I found familiar with, but I chose the seat way front and watching what it showed on the screen for half an hour in the class. Instead of making new friends, I was carefully thinking of what methods can be used for making good animation. Examples were shown by the teacher which quite impressed me. The one that impressed me the most was the pixilation and claymation. They both are seemingly involved a long process of making. But yeh, I just found out that I am once again, in the same class as Jim and Nelson, and Jim told me how he failed a course from last semester.
Waiting another a few hours for my next class while working on my essay at AIT, I felt proud of myself being this hard working somehow. When most of the people are having their holidays now, or soon, I choose to keep studying for two courses...
Btw the screen editing lab class was great. I got to learn some format, how to set up files on premiere pro and some technical problems I might encounter along with some solution taught by Patrick. Patrick presented everything so well, in a way of successfully making a supposedly dull lesson less dull lol I am admired of his way of teaching. It's all about how to merge fun into education. I've learned a lot from his provision of extra info in classifying some elements in video making, with some detailed description on how to construct the video to fit in different contexts.
Once again, this was a stressful night having to work on my essay productively. I tried to look for some resources to support my core argument. But I bet that as sometimes I overdo things which I go a bit too far, I give myself a hard time looking for resources too, when I think a lot more than what I should write for the already fixed structure.
Anyways the popular song little apple has gone viral on the internet these days. That is one of the pop songs I listen to the most for two reasons. First, it's so lively which I use it to revive myself a bit during the break I have between this essay-written-period. Second it makes me so happy, energetic.
Btw, sorry to hear that Eric broke up with his gf. He'd be ok because he's Eric. Time will heal everything..
PS: We've found something in common again. We both love watching this super orator show haha...Geeezzzzz too many things in our plan list now. This list is going to be way too long for us to finish doing them all :3

3rd Sem starts! (4th of November)
In brief, the first day of AIT semester, I was with this good mood walking to AIT to do my timetable in the early morning. After waiting for a short while, this lady asked me to get into her office. I requested to change one of my courses to something else. That friendliness of hers made my day anyways. Later I also asked her to check my result for studio, as well as to get the enrollment confirmation sheet since I forgot to sign for last semester. Walking out from her office, I headed to one of the rooms instead of having my lunch, and continued to work on my media final essay.
However, I couldn't really have some productive work in that 2 hours as it was freaking cold inside of the room...Anyways my screen editing teacher is a Taiwanese guy. As always, the first lesson is all about introduction of the course. He briefly introduced himself, along with a few slides in a cute design. Later he told us the assessments standards we have to reach for doing ours, as well as some examples both showing what a good and bad work is. The showcase of music videos and trailers from the past students' work is enough to give us some guideline in doing ours better later on. I love how relaxed this class is when Patrick is the one who makes the class lively and stress free.
I walked back to Central right after my class because the weather seemed like it was going to rain heavily. Before catching the train, I walked in this Japanese restaurant and ordered udon and two sushi rolls. Coming back home and continued with my epic media final essay the rest of the night. No break, no fun, a stressful night with a retarded brain lol....

Recruitment starts NOW.. (3rd of November)
If she's happy, I'll be happy. I am happy for her happiness :) After receiving several photos from him through text, she told me that she started to feel his true heart, his sincerity, he isn't lying at all...
Anyways she took me to this restaurant near the club to eat tonight. We ordered a few dishes. While we were waiting for our food, there was this family sitting a few tables away from us, singing happy birthday song. At the corner of her eyes, a few tears flowed out. She quickly wiped them off her cheeks and said to me 'Soon we will be also having a family like everyone else...' I smiled and said 'Yeh, such a good family right there...even I can feel the warmth here..'
Coming back home with my full tummy, I couldn't stuff anymore food in my mouth though she asked me if I still wanted to have ice-cream or fruits. After start running for an executive position, I get to know everyone else in my society because I was invited to several group discussion on both FB and wechat, where I was thinking that it was time for me to interact more with other committees and directors. Beatrice, the event director, as well as several others soon added me privately. Beatrice, once again, this talkative girl initiated the conversation with me. She later asked me to leave a message in marketing team to see who will be willing to stay next year so I can recruit some people from the previous members. There was this guy called Jim, later added me too. He asked me a few questions on my new department-promotion and design, as it was renamed and replaced the marketing and media team, he wasn't sure whether he had to re-apply for a committee position before joining my team. For my own interest, I asked him back what specialization, skills or interests he has, because there are three types of people I want to recruit for my team. They are the ones with good photographing skills, designing skills as in the ones that are capable to help me out with doing flyers, brochures, posters and promotional videos, and the last type will be le media or tech-savvy who have some basic knowledge in editing software and all. I have to say Jim is such an honest guy, he said he isn't quite familiarize with anything I've mentioned above, but he has a good sense in music and dancing. I bet he must be musically talented. Apart from that, he also claimed himself as a good communicator who can get along with people so well. Of course, having great communicative skills is also the key of promotion, as it's named, ours department is promotion and design, hence promotional skills should be prioritized.
So I successfully recruited my second member. So far so good. Just a few days after the AGM, I have already had two members recruited :) Thanks for Jim's compliment there too. I was surprised that him and his friends loved my speech in AGM so much. He said from my speech, he got a feeling that I'll be very responsible with my role because I sound really demanding in some way, as well as my deep voice as he said, stressed some parts in my speech so they all felt my confidence in expressing my ideas out. How can I not be happy after someone complimented me in such a way >3< This guy made my day, really. But it was embarrassed once he said he knew who I am, I just didn't notice them til now..>.>
Owner also felt happy for me because soon we all will be working through everything together next year. Another half an hour talking to my owner about my plan for next year, as well as some food I ate tonight lol....Btw....I still haven't started my essay lol....It would be nice if I can get a bit done today...but I have to sleep now >3<
PS: Glad that the property maintenance finally came over and checked everything needed to repair. They said they'd call me back after they talk to the owner. I hope they weren't feeling annoyed during the time she asked them to check this and that...

I'm not a tutor, I'm a learner (2nd of November)
I wish I'm le kiddy's mum so I can do anything I want when he misbehaves. Same shit happened, you know, kid is still a kid. He kept looking elsewhere when I taught him something during tutoring...That's not it. The thing is, he didn't do his homework from last week. I think I'm getting used to his attitude now, so I wasn't mad at all. But I still had to report to his mum because that's part of my responsibility. What happened next? His mum banned him from watching TV for the whole day...
Oh and hmm I had this really positive feeling listening to the music while looking out from the window on my way back from North Sydney. I remember this quote from somewhere 'Don't exist, live. Get out and explore, thrive' Life may not be as comfortable at times but never underestimate the importance of changes you may have. I was taught to accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope out there. Just like all the courage, dreams and imagination I have so far in my life, I have this belief to make my life better...
She said this might be a good beginning now. Our life is getting better and better, way much better than before. From that moment when she started to learn how to cook some dishes she has never tried before. Looking at her happy face when she cooks in the kitchen, I have once realized she embraces life again...Oh and yeh, as always, owner has given me some advice on how to tutor a kid by keeping a balance between being interactive and strict. But you know, everything is easy to say, hard to do in practice...
PS: Contract signed between owner and I. Welcome to my first teammate in my department. Hope we will be happily working through all the projects together next year. Please don't call me boss though. I still prefer you to call me your alarm lol Nice fingerprint btw
PS1: My deepest gratitude towards my owner, the greatest listener here...
PS2: He's right. Positively saying, the kid is my challenge in learning how to be more patient, but he is indeed my helper letting me realize how hard to teach a kid, and hence, to develop my own way to learn how to teach my child at an early age...
