Free movie (16th of May)

same as usual

staying at somebody's house to do some work

as in

helping him with his chapter 3 or whatsoever

watching running man for another one hour

slept til 5-ish

pre-movie time

le fast din din time almost suffocated me

too fast

not getting used to that lol

and a lot of walking.....too much to walk all the way from lower campus to the Ritz cinema

Avengers 2 is good, (OF COURSE LA...completely FREEEEE that's why lol)

too much CGI, lots of actions, intensity of each character's attributes etc

a typical blockbuster

Video editing day 3 (15th of May)

9am to 7pm working sesh

just for the video

everything ran well

the effects I used looking so good 

still, should learn more new effects for either the background or text

though I was asked to leave for more than 3 times by two different people

because of all that saving took like almost an hour

encoder is so shit for the work save

3 times of failing

the really last time had me almost smash the computer lol

showing mum how my work is

she said, Steve Job's voice is so great

instead of looking at the more visual aspect of things

she described more of the audio part

which has nothing to do with me lol

disappointed lol

doing le survey for Ailin

about the toilet paper lol

funny enough to do such a survey the first time for a marketing project hahaha

and giving me with such a difficult time to zip all the files

finally it came with the final solution

which is to download an encoder software for the god sake to compress the video file to the smallest

yet not losing much quality of the video itself

in the meantime, screw jivi site lol

why being such an ass only allowing under 100m file uploaded?

Video editing day 2 (14th of May)

in brief

40 seconds done

as I planned

lucky to have some notes written on the book beforehand

so saving that one hour of editing for all the preparation

another 3 hour to finish the rest of the work

feeling glad to see how much I've gone so far

effects looking great

creativity is GREAT

keep trying hard, hard enough, aiming for an HD

btw thanks for MR sth who let me stay for another one hour

all because he also had to stay for the vivid installation

so I should say thanks for vivid installation lol

Video editing day 1 (13th of May)

another shitty morning starting with rain as soon as I got to Central

getting a little bit of work done at home

started my another sesh finishing another 10+seconds of my video at AIT

slowly proceeding

editing took a lot of time

just for a couple sentences

15 secs for 6 sentences haha

much pressure having me to start worrying in what way I could finish my video in the more efficient way

I do figure out how I could experiment different effects at home

writing all the effects in my head

while practicing them with the older version of ae

taking shit loads of notes for the entire process 

for tomorrow's video editing...

continuing with my hard work tomorrow

Frustrated ae updates (12th of May)

movie: blondie make out with this Jap dude

such le feels watching such a movie in the early morning

tut was fine

great discussion with my mates in the tut

let's not see the aesthetic value but to look at what kind of narrative got us into watching the film

I'll say the unpurposefulness is what this film is all about

even if sometimes you ain't doing something unintentionally

but that is, already your purpose

of doing nothing

yes, that's right

the purpose of doing nothing is the purpose of doing something

that is what the film is really about its narrative sets up at the exact same location throughout le 2 hours

CGI thingy (11th of May)

Lect time be with my own sitting at the very front row

learning a lot from the movie

I mean CGI is one amazingly awesome tech discovery in the movie

Matrix is one of the most classic proof of this

I really enjoy watching the movie

like one of those that I most enjoyed so far in this course lol

macaron stall was awesome to be with Wandi too

as usual, we both were the best buddies having so much to talk to each other

I told her how much I've been doing recently for every single aspect in my life

she told me how hard she has been teaching the kids in Maths and Physics

so glad to see the former director who's hired by one of the most well-known IT companies

that during the time she's being a trainee

she gets paid too

I'm so happy for her having a brighter future that the graduates are expecting to have

good talk with le former director

I'll be doing a great job too, to continue with all her honour in the position

heated debate in the seminar

those 4 were discussing how CGI works in both way in analog images

without over valuing or appreciating more towards one or another

I do agree with what they called CGI as the core of what film itself is already one huge category

to the definition of what CGI is

Mother's day (10th of May)

as long as she's happy and surprised

I would be happy

this was achieve by the sacrificing of my own outing lol

for an hour..almost...

we got on the train

which he has said the same thing for million times

we lined up for our lunch

two sushi terminators tough enough to give our best to finish almost 10 dishes in just 20 minutes

the continuous dishes were piled up

I caught them from the sushi train

we ate, shared half, opened the lid, ate again, repeated

so damn full for eating 26 dishes, plus some extra pudding or whatsoever soup to fill us up

bravo....mission completed

but slept
