2nd Newtown trip (29th of November)

He was late. He made me wait for almost 20 minutes at platform 19. So I didn't feel happy when he came to find me. I purposely ignored him by turning my head to the side when he talked to me, til he made me talk after that kiss on the train. He forced my head to get closer to him, and passionately kissed me, which I started to talk back to him. With that pinch on his face, and kept telling him not to be late on me again next time, he nodded with a grin before we got off the train.

We got another type of cake from the same cafe we went last time, the one where we got our watermelon cake from. Then we headed to that Dendy cinema to have our afternoon tea while discussing our following plans. I told him how my mum said I got fatter these days, he then went one step forward and looked at him from top to bottom which made me feel a bit uneasy in that way of look. He said I didn't look fat at all....

Anyhow we had our great talk in several things. First, we had talked about the flight tickets and finally made our decision on what time of the flight to Gold Coast. Then it comes with the T-shirt design which we gathered several ideas together by drawing on the papers. We thought hard, so hard for being creative, but simple at the same time. Designing something creative and simple is absolutely not easy. So the elements we had were something related to warmth, brightness, hope, love and such. I quickly listed out everything we needed. Then he suggested me to turn the texts into image. We even had made fun of one of the designs, if I remember correctly, that was the second design in which two hands are reaching each other from the sides. He said this is more of an advertisement to avoid breast cancer lmao...That moment again, when our eyes met as we talked, his lips touched mine. Long kisser gave me a really good feeling, the wetness from the kiss has enhanced our love towards each other. And he loved to watch me talking, he even had that laid back look on his face and closely looked at my face as I lowered my head. We then deeply observed each other's face for quite a while, from a second to a minute. We felt that we were connected, to the deepest of our hearts at that moment... The script writing was also well planned. Although it wasn't really a productive hour, somebody just barely opened his eyes as he talked. I told him some scenes I want to use from the clips I watched these days. The birthday girl, and the lost thing are my favourites. Other than the filmic techniques they used in the videos, the meaning with it, is also worth learning. To make our script more meaningful and creative, we definitely need that.

So before the horror movie started, he asked me to get inside earlier so we could do 'something else'. I love how he made that 'something else' sound so 'something else', as if that is just one of the typical something else lmao....Anyways, the movie was great. I mean, horror enough to make me go jumpy hugging my owner. The gory vagina scene where her bf pulls that foreign object from her, it really gave me goosebumps seeing her torture. But I just don't get why it ends in a way of lots of possibilities could have been, I thought that there would be something else happening after she 'hides' her bf in the water, but there wasn't. It was the end, the full stop, the game over, she was summoned to go somewhere with her clan. Yet this has left us a lot of unknowns, uncertainties in an attempt to ask why, how and what. I had so many questions in my head that time, because there are more than a lot from the film that got me into asking. In fact, some parts are given off too much information but ends badly without reaffirming what they really want to tell the audience.

But yeh, we had a great time sitting in the park talking about the film, as well as the houses he found with Sean. He told me how bad this house is, but there is another one which the owner is also lived there (the professor) is sort of good. And yes, we walked back to the train station after I finished my fruits. We then talked about he once had a fight with someone when he was younger. He pushed his classmate onto the floor after he swore to his parents. I then shared David's case to him, and told him that he got kicked out of the Chemistry training class right after he punched someone in the face and all.

Dinner was great too. But we picked the wrong restaurant. There wasn't any noodles or set meal to order, so we ended up being still half full, and decided to go to another Chinese restaurant at China town to have fried noodles. He told me how busy his parents are, as well as to teach me some types of tea which he called them as common sense>.> I know how lack of knowledge I have for Chinese culture. Just from how many times he has corrected my Cantonese today, I can tell how bad my Chinese has become lol But thanks for your help. We learn things from each other ey~

Fattie am I.. (28th of November)

  • good mood good mood. Good jogging time. Not so good when I stepped into a place that was banned though lol...>.>
  • I saw this girl dancing at the park almost everyday. I really am admired of her beautiful red hair :)
  • So much fun watching somebody's update of her and her bf's Thailand trip. They are such a beautiful couple >3<
  • too much to do, so less time to do them
  • 8 mins workout, slept, woke up, 12ish. Finished my lunch, went to look for my account no. Then headed to the bank to get my balance slip, waited for the bus to get to Hursy. The two old ladies were so nice, especially the one sitting next to me, asking me to sit down as there were some space next to her.
  • Lucky that was a short wait at C. Lucky I had my book with me during that time.
  • A full day with blog posts updated and some work done (productive much)
  • Thanks for that mum. I might have grown a bit fatter. Just a maybe. Or maybe it was the optical illusion from you...Maybe you just don't want me to have too much meat, that's why you said it...
  • Feeling glad to see somebody has back to the life he wants. From his photo updates on Fb with his mates, I can tell how sociable he is now, which is good :)
  • Don't get too carried away by someone or something, or just a piece of news or a clip of video. They normally are the products from some sensationalists...Anything can happen in anywhere, it wasn't just about that particular country, but the whole wild world. I don't see why people should be scared of what they watch or get from the media...Why can't they have some rational thinking themselves first...

First task- T-shirt design (27th of November)

  • Having the worst beginning of the day...Somehow I had an intense stomachache in the middle of nowhere when I jogged. By the time the pain got me, I slowly walked back to where the toilet is at the park, I found that it's not open...=3=
  • No umbrella in a rainy day...
  • First time ever in this semester saw Pai....I miss this girl a lot...But we aren't from the same class anymore :(
  • She asked me to tell the maintenance worker to also check the water tank...
  • ^ Finally got the fan fixed. Thanks for those two friendly workers. They really have helped us a lot. Sorry that the signal was so bad in here, so I couldn't hear what you said on the phone lol...
  • Great....animation proposal and storyboards, as well as the presentation are all due in week 7. I should get everything started asap for the sake of my Gold Coast trip...
  • Animation class was good. We were watching all these amazing work done by the ones who earned the New York academy animation award in this a few years.
  • Thanks for Nelson's compliment. But I didn't look that sexy and I wasn't going to the beach. You thought too much lol...
  • Epic blog posts updated..
  • I was finally assigned to design the T-shirt for our society by next Thursday. So I had a group chat with Sinclare and the president Henry. Later I private chatted with Henry and told him what I thought about the recruitment, and the members I am going to accept for my department, such as Jim and Tao who are willing to join my team. He said Tao now can be the volunteer photographer because we don't know yet how active he is, or how much he will be dedicating to our society. But Jim is from our society anyways, he's been joining the committee since 2 years ago, he would be fine to be put under my department
  • Right after I had Henry's permission to recruit those two, I formed a group chat for my promotion team, and adding Sinclare, Tao and Jim in. Also leaving them with a long message detailing everything I needed to say. The first task - T-shirt design, and such, is all I know by now. I also told them nothing is urgent by now, but I'll get them updated when things come
  • I have to ask them what happened to my studio 2 result, and the lady said I had to ask Peter first...But he wasn't at the office today..
  • I printed out my renewal form and filled out everything
  • Tia saw me when I was doing my work after school. She just shortly came and hugged me as this was the first time ever I've seen this girl in this semester too....
  • Nelson and I walked back to Central. He must have been hinting me something as he mentioned about relationship, I could feel it. He even asked me is a 21-year-old too young for me, so I said yes, then I go 'not mature enough. I need someone that's much older and teaches me things I want to learn from him' He then questioned me what kinds of things I want to learn, he could teach me share, investment and such....Soon we had a little chat about marriage, responsibility and career too. I fully understood him. Why? Because we both are Aquarius lol>.> We do think alike sometimes..
  • We got our materials ready for the animation class...Thanks for shouting me grape juice too
  • Telling mum how I thought about two of my friends, Carson and Nelson. The former is rather pompous, the latter is so nice and silly like a child...
  • I know somebody has read my message, but he didn't reply, so I got upset a bit for him being so not supportive. I was a bit pissed off, not exactly pissed off but getting depressed shoving a long message in his face. I said I just wished somebody could be showing some respect to something I do. I was surprised of his reaction towards my complaining. He was such a calm and mature guy, who didn't think explanation should be needed here. He just admitted that it was his fault for being not perfect, and making me feel bad. Then apologized with 6 voice messages to cheer me up. You know how much I love his voice ey. Really much. Melted, the only word I can think of, as soon as I hear his voice, I was melted... lol

Screen editing presentation (26th of November)

Today we were asked to do the pixelation group task in our animation class. Apparently Nelson, Carson would be forming a group with me. Another new member named Jacqueline later joined our group too. Oh and that Lu girl who came a bit later, coming to ask if she could also join our group. I was the one suggesting if we could do our group work like the game, whacker in which some of us would be the ones hiding behind the couch, and showing our heads up in a repeated action before someone else coming to whack us. Carson said he would like to be the director. His main role was to film the whole movement by using the stop motion apps. The first try was a fail though. Firstly, Lu girl didn't know how to do a gradual change in moving her body, we could all see that from how stiffen she was. Secondly, the part in the beginning where we raised up our head high wasn't good enough to show the audience what exactly we were doing...

So we were waiting for Jacqueline to be back for the second try. The second time when Nelson shoot it with his phone, instead of being one of the hamsters, was successfully made. He cut out some frames so to make them look like a series of stop motion pictures forming altogether.

Btw thanks a lot for Nelson's shout for Yum cha. Carson and I were both appreciated. They called me a big eater as I am one..>.> Anyways boy's talk you know, a debate between those two during the whole one hour at Yum cha. The car talk, the brands' names and all, were all something new to me. I was there sitting quietly watching them to talk about those technical facts of cars, something that I've never heard of, could be sometimes interesting to know too.

Coming back to have my second class - screen editing at C11. Patrick told us about his favourite clip, the only reason he likes is the one take technique they use. He appraised this as one of the most epic techniques in film making. Quoted 'You know how time consuming this will take for filming everything in just one take? What if anyone stuffed up in the middle of process, everyone and everything has to be re-set up. Now everyone is going to hate you' True that lol

So after he did his, it was our turn to do ours. I didn't want to be voluntarily the first one to present, nor waited til the very end. Both were bad enough for any presenters anyways, unless you are so good at public talking or fully ready. So hmmmm I was the fifth person out of 20+ people in our class, because I couldn't wait anymore. I just wanted to finish this ASAP. Yes, ASAP. What I did? I didn't volunteer to be the first, but I volunteered to be the fifth right after that girl. The initial plan for Patrick was for us randomly pick the next person after each presenter finished presenting, but all in a sudden, the urge that has made me raise up my hand and ask him if I could be the next. lol...

I did it nice and solid. My well-prepared and organized presentation with extra info provided for the movie background, detailed explanation in aesthetic values, editing techniques and brief clip description plus humour added to the beginning and the end by describing myself as a hardcore one, related to how disturbing this film could be for some people, I have earned some respect from Patrick. He was totally agreeing with most of the things I said from the sign of nodding, especially when I pointed out all the effects and such.

I couldn't hold my happiness right after class finished and told mum how great I thought my presentation was. So I rang her up on my way back home :3 And she told me she would be cooking duck for me tonight hahaha for a mini-celebration xD

Thanks for her massage for almost an hour. That was like HEAVEN....I felt so good comes with a bit of pain though. I know that is bound to be slightly painful, as she said. It will be even better if she could massage my head even longer hahaa Me so greedy lol

Good English version for the Chinese songs I've heard tonight. And thanks for sharing that Ushi interview with mehhh xD I had a great laugh when watching a few episodes. This was planned perfectly amusing because nobody has ever noticed the interviewer's real identity til the end. It was rather a surprise by seeing her to take off her wig, glasses and all. Nobody has ever thought this hilarious poorly English speaker has been acting dumb but in the meantime, smart for the entertaining purpose. I really really enjoyed watching the interviewee's reaction towards the confusing questions they had, especially to Adele who has been trying so damn hard to hold her laughter, and later with this awkwardly want-to-end-it-asap face lmaooo....Oh geezzzz.... The producer of this TV program is such a genius hahaha

PS: Nelson was totally told off by the police when he drove us back to AIT. He mistakenly turned to a wrong lane....The police soon caught up with the car, and warned him not to do it again>.> Poor guy...not just him, we got freaked out too...=3=

Good good feeling (25th of November)

A good good day~A good good good good good day xD Can you imagine this big baby has been playing the swing for almost 20 minutes while singing at the park? Yes, indeed insane. I have once received some weird stares at me quite a long while, lucky there wasn't much people today>.>

I had this mood to sing today, so I couldn't wait to make a recording once I got home. I picked Jingle bells for some reason lmaoo Though Christmas will be still a month away from now, I was getting all excited to fall into this Christmas atmosphere in my own wild world. It took me several times to record the whole song, then I had a nice lunch, and heading to AIT on time. Or even a bit earlier than usual. We were all shocked that we would be having our presentation in tomorrow's class all in a sudden, since he hasn't talked to us about it at all recently. I remember the only time he mentioned it was at the beginning of this semester, the first lesson we had when he explained the guide of all the assessments we got. But it's ok since it's a short presentation, I wasn't that as worried as I should be. And the class was nothing much to be taught, but Patrick has been showing us a piles of clips throughout the entire lesson, in order to sharpen our skills in making our music video, which is due next Wednesday. He has listed out 5 or 6 types of music videos most likely made by the producers. The lazy type - means there is nothing much editing to do for the footage; the non-narrative type is the one can be varied in 3 levels, he has given us three examples such as the one from Taylor Swift, we can tell how fancy the director wanted to make the video for seeing how many costumes Taylor has changed in one single video. Oh and the narrative type of course, I like this type of music video too, when they are designated to match with the lyrics. A simple but meaningful story is formed through the montage and beautifully made plot via the interaction between the characters. I went all crazy and shit since one of the videos he showed was once my favourites back then. Apart from this, the creative and remix types, both have amazed everyone a lot. There must be hell lots of work needed to be done, and collaboration is also essential for the textures and patterns making for BIG thing, as in, the OK go's one take video in which the entirety is made without any cuts in between. They hired hundreds or thousands of Japanese to help them out, and shots were taken at a mountain height angle....It is just AMAJINGG....Patrick said we might not see any cuts during our viewing experience, there might be, or might not be any cuts, but if there is any, there must be some really smart editing work in there making the cuts to seem so much less invisible.

Anyhow I couldn't catch up with my friend Kevin that long after 5ish. We only went to a Thai restaurant, had a nice dinner and headed back to Central afterwards. It's all my fault for getting heaps of things to do I know. But nice talk there, we had our great fun picking which restaurant to go, as well as a deep talk about our future career and current studies and cultural aspects during dinner time. I was totally into these two dishes btw. They were huge, much huger than I expected. :3

Finishing off my awesome presentation (preparation I mean)...Yes, that's basically what I did for the night. I chose this clip from the film 'Oldboy', a slightly disturbing film for the majority but I love it. I love its aesthetic value, political aspects, editing techniques and all. I just love it so much. I quickly jotted down everything I would be saying for the presentation. The dot points were succinct and useful written on a sticker paper, and I put it at the back pocket of my bag. DONE

Flight tickets booking failed in the first try because we still haven't made up our mind. Besides, we didn't want to make an important decision at this late...

Ok somebody loves my recordings as always x3...He said even with some background noises, I still sang pretty well :3 My wonderful moment is to send somebody this recording to make him cheerful too!!!

PS: Safe trip Kevin!!! I'll see you next year!!! :3

A try-hard? Try harder!! (24th of November)

I have made the worst decision ever again today lol I should have listened to her much earlier but I didn't....Surely I should be the one punished by all those yelling and such for a couple hours. But I seriously didn't expect that they wouldn't come today and that we have to re-book another time because it still takes some time for them to get us a special order for the fan...Yes, it was my fault overall, caused her not being able to go to school today, and we couldn't even solve that problem...

Flip book was done within half an hour. She was the one helping me to flip the book while I was there filming it. Later I showed her our AIT animation blog where everyone posted theirs there. She now knows what her daughter has been learning, and she gets to know more about the production of making animation too.

I've been updating everything on our Gold Coast trip today. Literally everything that I could think of. And the ones we marked down on the paper were something that I had more concern with. I looked for a lot of resources to get to know the public transports there in Gold Coast, how we can save the most to have limited travel, and in what way we are able to save more time to travel to more places by calculating the time and distance we will be taking from one place to another. There are a lot more than I think I would find out. When towards the end of solving one issue, another was induced by the previous one. I opened up more than 30+ tabs to do heaps of research for almost everything, and tried my best to make our trip perfect. I even changed a large part from the third or fourth page where I consider day 1 and 5 should be with less activities, so I coherently re-arranged some bits to make the schedule less packed.

Anyways been watching that dancing contest with mum nearly the whole night. There are just too many talented people nowadays, which I start feeling more and more competitions are coming along, and that I have this feeling to try even harder. This is not the time to be slack, but to keep improving yourself to the utmost until you are strong enough to not afraid of most of them. Btw I really like the guts from most of them, as well as the stories behind the scenes that are really resonated with the audience.

I wish I have extra time to do more things for the day, as I say this to myself for more than millionth of times. I did have a productive day. At the very least I finished two big tasks supposedly that were meant to be finished a few days before, And I finally made my decision to remove 8gb from both of my usb(s). This is for tomorrow's screening editing task in which I have to ensure 8gb videos can be stored in my usb.

Songs will really cause ear bugs...I mean, the more you listen to one song, the more it will get you to like it. The beats, the rhythm, the tempo, the lyrics might be remained somewhere deep from your brain and somehow you have this euphoria when you are naturally sang this out without you even get to realise it. Just like the in-trend song 'little apple' nowadays. Btw I love the English version for some Chinese songs. They are even better than the original version...

Lastly, I was tagged by Joyce's status this morning, being told that she has changed her mind. Which means, she might not come back to Australia, but staying at America to study further for her 'aero' field. I feel happy and sad at the same time. But maybe happiness is a bit more than sadness. Seems like she has found her goal. I believe in your Joyce :) Now, where is mine? Ya...keep looking for it...

Someone's ready... (23rd of November)

Kiddy sesh was same as usual. Fun, annoying, frustrated at some extent, everything mixed up. But I was impressed that he's seemingly getting improved in using those tenses. Last time I remember that I put emphasis on how to define the term present and past tense to him, and he wrote them correctly this time. Also a part of his exercise was perfect. But his homework from last week was still a disaster >.> He really should have more attention when doing them, that's all I can say...

The Chinese food fest in Chatswood wasn't as exciting as I thought. There were only up to 20 stalls sat at two sides, selling the food that we can even easily find from any of the random restaurants. But I was looking forward to seeing some traditional Chinese food a week earlier, that's why I got really disappointed after all. I only found a few which I viewed them as ok-ish related to the so-called traditional Chinese food, and I picked three of them out of the many. The spicy pork belly, a type of wheel-shaped Taiwanese cake and this famous lamb skewers. Lonely (enough?) to sit there enjoying my food while watching the performance performed by a tall ABC lol...

But I miss my mum's cooking ey....Her cooking is still the best of all so far lol Because it contains love and caring which I cannot find them from any other dishes from any restaurants. :3 As long as I went back home, she asked for my opinion on what she'd be wearing for the Christmas party, even though it was a bit early to even talk about it lol...I showed owner the photos I took with mum from last Christmas, as well as my green-ish Christmas-bomb-like earrings, oh and my red and white strip top too~

Oh btw I saw this link somewhere online so I showed him that, and told him to keep it just in case one day he needs it. He said he wasn't worried at all. The fact is, man will become more and more charming as they grow older and older. And I totally agreed with that. Adding to how he thought he would only cherish our time to be together, instead of thinking much about our future, this somehow gave me a relaxed feeling.. Then topic soon moved to where I mentioned about workaholic, he totally went against my perspective by saying he never had thought about himself for being one, when he also would spend his precious time to being with the one he loves. But yes, it is such a weird thing to talk about when we are in a relationship. How funny it is when your gf starts off this topic 'what if we are single'...What is she trying to imply?

Towards the end of conversation, he asked if I still remembered the first ever song he sent to me, which actually means something as I thought. He said he intentionally picked that song because the lyrics is really something he wants to say to me, but he wasn't sure what I would think if he went to abrupt. Honestly speaking, I really love his voice too. Maybe half of the reason I like about him, is from his voice lol I have to say I was like a fool, replaying someone's recordings for countless times after he sent me. His voice is somewhat different, which it steps directly into my heart as it plays.

I really think that negative distance will soon to be happened in our Gold Coast trip. I like how quirky he describes our 'first time', and I'm guessing he has already prepared for his props lol Gotta be true to say that weapons have to be worn before doing some particular actions, and date has to be remembered, if he wants, we can even pick a perfect timing to do it, just like everything you have to do for buying and living in a house... (random much xD)...
