I don't freaking care about the snooze button, normally I would leave it there for more than 5 minutes...Mum didn't wake me up at 9:30 anyways. That was the time I should be awake (at least an hour to get ready for uni for me as it starts at 12)
She broke into my room at 10:20 and dragged me off my bed by lifting my legs high...
Washed my hair, ate my lunch and ready to go...
My train was gone by the time I got there. =.= Another train came in 15 minutes so I sat there emotionless playing with my fingers...
Got off from central, Jodie texted when I can be in the lecture, I told her I would be at least half an hour late he..hehehe...=.= Once I got on the 891 bus, a familiar face just walked past and I shouted her name 'Ash!!' She turned back and saw me, came back to where I sat. We both were so surprised as I've never seen her again since last year. She was like 'hahahahaha you are such a small person, I didn't even see you til you called my name' >.> I like her even though she's being so mean to speak out the truth>.> lol Her 'working on image and sound' project sounds really fun, sadly I didn't get to pick that course for this semester
She dropped off from the first top and I gotta wait for the next one :( Don't know when will be the next time I see her again *sigh* Anyways I was more like an 'intruder' once I got in the lecture hall as the lecturer was quietly explaining something at that time>.> Jodie waved at me and I waved back just in that distance of 10 meters lol
After the lecture, Ailin tapped on my shoulder then I just realized she has been sitting behind me all this time lol Said goodbye to Jodie, went to the library with Ailin and checked my Twitter, Fb, blogger accounts in that remaining half an hour til the next tut I had
(In the tut) The second presenter was one of the best I've seen so far in my media tut. Love her voice, her interpretation from her section as well as her body language, it was a really engaging. I seriously don't get why the tutor has to be this petty picking on words from our presenters' brilliant interpretation, this has just added more to his sissy characteristic. Seeing him as even more woman than a woman, we, the students down there just giggled...Is this really his nature or he's trying to act funny...=.=
After the tut, Gwinny and Ailin led me to the PH stall to get our tickets with 35 bucks each. They also introduced their friend Nora to me lol We then made eye contact and said 'We know each other from our film studies tut last year lol'
Then I bumped into Michael (panpan's friend) in my way to the main gate with my friends. He didn't recognize me first til I waved at him. We stopped and talked for a bit. He then asked me to say hi to panpan. It's a great time to catch up next week during our unsw break as well :)
In my way home, I grabbed my daily newspaper sitting at the corner of the train once I boarded. Looking at the view outside with the sunshine shone on my newspaper. The top news today is regarding to how the technological change has impact on our job within 20 years. Some of the jobs will be computerized at risk and low-skill workers will be likely reallocated their tasks under this circumstances. I am starting to worry about my future like the rest of the undergraduates, what is the best career path that is suited to the unknown
change? Who can answer me with a valid reason?
I didn't really go home straight after I dropped off from rivy, instead I went to grab some snacks from the asian shop in the plaza. It was just an urge of finishing reading the newspaper as a task for me before I headed home that's all...
Sometimes mum can sound really inspired and educational when she's really into a topic of educating her daughter, her words are used to magnify some social issues and conflicts she sees from everyday news and hoping that I can get some lessons from her talk. I exceptionally enjoyed these times to be with her during dinner and lunch, just like tonight. Simple love may be from a simple family and simple family has the likelihood to have more love towards each other :) thanks mum, who has given me all that, she's awesome in her way for shaping who I am now
I would say I haven't done much tonight except for downloading the music I've been wanting for so long...
Study break is starting from this minute, this hour and to make it more like a break, I have already planned something besides studying :)
