Le fool fail (31st of March)

I found my Korean buddy sitting at the front of the lecture so I asked her to sit with me. Then we walked back to the library together after the lecture finished. I only realised the soc stall was down there at the quad when I checked my Fb. There were already three girls there sitting to service people, I didn't know what to do in the beginning since that was my first time to look after a stall. There wasn't much happening there and I wasn't assigned to do anything but sat there the whole time doing my Jap homework.

I spent my two hours doing my pitch and plan. I really wished to get it done within that 2 hours. Unfortunately my computer couldn't be extended for another hour once another student logged me off. My thought was suddenly got cut off when that happened. I only got to add some characterization and location description, nothing more than that.

Today's topic is evolved around the concept of interaction as has mentioned for so many times starting from the first day I take this course. Interaction does take a huge part and different forms in any of the following concepts: behaviourism, cognitivism, enactivism, cybernetics, embodied mind etc. Just like what they have shown us via external sources in which sensory movement produces sense of constant change through engagement. Perception and action are both the situatedness having effects upon one another so to form the arc of communication. One example shows how this works is that the Emotiv brain computer interface is developed for human to operate the game with their demonstration of facial expression and inner thought. Throughout the lecture, Andrew has given so much more examples to stimulate our interest to the history of development of interaction design which have gone through 4 stages. I like how they have taken big leaps to the current stage where information density increases, graphical interface merges with spatial experiences to negotiate an augmented reality through a bunch of beautiful pattern recognition. Guess I wasn't the only one fascinated by the amazing fact that the tangible computing has projected the fantasy around where we live in. Hence, embodied interaction is to see, experience and understand, you see the surroundings, experience where your media gadgets align you with the surroundings and to understand how we are embedded in all sorts of programming, letting us become so much more responsive than ever.

Enough of theoretical talk here. Here comes with another best part of the day. Seeing Shabrina and Michael (not that Michael) has made my day. We chatted for nearly 20 minutes since I never get to see their faces in this lecture because I move to the front. Oh and I actually was being madly squeezed on the bus by giant people for 20 minutes while panpan couldn't stop calling...But yeah...I finally know where his lecture hall is. The only way to get something stuck in my head is to let me try it alone once. Today I found his lecture hall and sat with him for another one hour listening to somebody's lecture. Being a super good kid taking some notes down even though it might have nothing to do with what I am studying now. But as what the word 'ecology' suggests in my media lecture, everything is linked, nothing can stand its own without the linkages with others, one concept makes changes to process across the differences from another. That being said, unknown is just another aspect hidden from what you have known, learning something I don't know is only another accumulation of a lived relation with what I already have...

PS: So Gold is a really modest Korean, unlike the first impression I have of him is sort of a cool cold guy..And I was described as an 'early bird', first time ever heard of someone use this expression on me of being diligent lol
PS1: weird how Anthony doesn't even know he has called me for two times. And yes...he obviously a huge gamer lol
PS2: Hyper me and panpan have gone so crazy thinking about how we go wild next time. Creativity creates the fantasy of naughty moments such as drawing a circle to do judo, the one loses has to be stripped and do push-ups naked; jumping on his bed like trampoline; putting sauces over his back writing a letter and licking it all; having 10 packs of wasabi to see who die first...I guess that's one of the best things people would like to stay with me. It's not how much I wub a person, but how weirdly I wub a person with my imaginative thought of our shared moments. That also counts...
PS3: April fool is not supposed to be like this. I was planning to troll somebody a big time but now I got trolled in the very first minute of the day...This is no fun....I've been waiting for this day for god damn long...why you do this to me >3<
