Sugar high (26th of March)

A little confusion about how to combine the regions together before fill in the colours so I asked the one sitting next to me if he knew how to do it. He then sort of gave me this face telling me that he had no idea how to help me out by pointing at his own work which was in a mess...

Oh and this time I didn't get to eat anything before my Jap tutorial started, but more importantly is that I made it on time. Travelling from AIT to UNSW does take approximately 50 minutes as you know...I spotted my friend Kiah once I got into the goldstein building where I waited outside of my jap room, I actually was the one initiating the conversation when I saw her sitting there. The only thing we are in common is definitely the course we are doing right now. Thanks for Jap letting me have this chance to make such a wonderful friend lol So Kiah studies for Indigenous studies as her major, I didn't get to ask whether she is an aboriginal though she does seem like one. Quickly we shift to talk about how Jap writing system has frustrated her the most, saying that I'd teach her how to write some of the characters that she still has some problems with, the idea of forming a study group came into our minds. The jap jap class was fun as always. The difference between these words 'Korea' and 'Jail' was a bit hard to tell in Jap. At that moment, tutor asked who are from Korea in the class, several people including the big guy sitting at our table raising up their hands. By using that silly example of what it might happen if we describe someone from Korea but mistakenly say it as 'Jail', (She/he's from jail) the whole class laughed. And I got my first quiz all correct. Then Nana, the native Jap supporter came to me and said a chunk of message wishing me ganbatte or some sort...I only got the gist of her supportive message but thanks Nana >3<

Ahh so sad that I am still sick, coughing a lot here. Even sometimes I find myself pretty annoying when we have lectures and tutorials, my coughing must have been quite disturbing >3< Just like today when the tutor was trying to explain some concepts in the class while everyone was there listening to him, I was on the side coughing loud and repeatedly, then the tutor stopped and asked if I was ok...Anyways the discussion was good though, all of us did make up some random conversation during our speed dating activity before he stopped us. I got to talk to 6 people in a row as we took turns to move to the next person explaining some terms in our own comprehension. Lucky I have skimmed through some lecture slides although I was absent on Monday's lecture. When Andrew was waiting for somebody's response to his questions, we all have given him a tough time being fully silence. He was looking around, expecting somebody could be a bit more active helping him out at some points, there was only a few people contributing a bit.

Lastly my Jap seminar was one of the best classes I had recently, but I miss Nana who's leaving for Japan nuuuuuuuuuuu Nanaaaaaaaa...don't leave us :'( I super like this Jap native speaker because she's just oh soooooooo friendly and acting super cute in a typical Japanese way to the point that I was attracted by her smile and the way she speaks, as well as how nice she is to every student she has. I mean, obviously every supporter and teacher is nice, but I find her modest attitude, her encouraging and supportive teaching method, her positive mindset of being a teacher makes her even more beautiful. She's one of those types that I find really close with even though we only have known each other for 3 weeks. She remembers my name in the first class we had, picked me to answer questions at times and talked to me after some classes for a bit. I almost treat her as my bigger sister >3< I only hope that if there is one day I ever visit Tokyo in Japan, I can see her again. Anyways my friend Jessie and Kai didn't come today. You'd find that weird when both of them were absent at the same time lol But then, Natalie and I moved to join up another table with Beth, Jacob and another guy. I was assigned to partner with Jacob to practice our epic dialogs throughout the whole lesson. I got along with him so well and we were laughing at each other's silliness, perhaps I got sugar high again, I was more of playing the role out which cracked him up so much. Including the last part where we had to assess another group's conversation, we both were being evil pointing at the other group and asking them to perform first. >.> Good job mate...we are the best wooohoooo

Haha sugar high me with her sleepless night...
