One-day exploration (28th of September)

The best Sunday today with my owner to explore some places :) I woke up early today to meet up with him at his lab. He introduced his project to me by showing what he has been investigating these days. Though I might not understand the terms he used for engineering, he wrote his concept on the board. Later we watched a movie at his seminar room. One thing I like about the film is how it reflects the meaning of everyone's journey. It's the people, and experiences that make you different from others.

Once we got on the bus back to central, he started asking me about my family issues as I mentioned a bit earlier. I told him lots of things happening in Melbourne when I was young. He heard me, and felt me. I clearly felt that he understood me the way he looked into my eyes. We walked all the way to Fish market from central afterwards. In the long way to get there, we had our good moment talking hell lots of things in life. Occasionally we kept pushing each other when either of us went to the wrong side. He also dragged me around sometimes when I seemed to get lost in the big crowd. Within half an hour of picking what to eat for lunch in fish market, we ended up having the seafood platter at a random park nearby. During the time we enjoyed ourselves chatting for a bit while eating, I shared my Jap friend's interview with him, the one I found yesterday on Youtube. Then this woman approached us all in a sudden, lied right next to us to watch us eat. The awkward moment being with a stranger who stared at your food for 10 minutes, and asked if she could take the rest of our food lol....As we only got chips left, we gave the whole box of leftover to her >.>

Our next destination is Watsons bay where we walked all the way back to Central, and caught on the train to Circular Quay. Lucky we made it at 4:30ish, right on time when the ferry came. We picked the seat outside when catching the ferry. The view has always been so great. With someone's company with me, I felt even happier. In order to keep me warm, he covered me with his jacket and blocked the wind for me with his massive hands. How awkward it was when my hair got blown messy that half of the time I was sucking my hair. But he still took some photos of my messy hair on the side to show me what he called as 'beautiful'..He helped me to comb my hair using his hands as we reached Watsons bay.

We spent almost 2 hours at Watsons bay walking around the beach and park. We even went down to the really end where we both sat there and took some photos before sunset. Walking back to the other side of the beach after half an hour passed. And going uphill to see that big green park where you can feel the freshness coming all the way from there. We sat there talking again. But this time, he told me about housing and such. Before we left Watsons bay, we planned to come back again next time to try their seafood.

Oh not to mention that our dinner at that Jap restaurant tonight is the perfect end of the day. The boss even talked to us for half an hour about how he began his own business here, how he has changed his menu over the period of time in Sydney. After collecting what the most famous dishes are in the restaurant and whatnots, he still is improving what menu suits the best for wider range of customers in a western country. We both have learned something from him. The more he told us, the more we thought it's worth going back there next time lol Skills there...But his food is really really good anyways :)

Lastly, thanks for keeping me warm all this time...I really miss all these moments we explored places together, and all the talks we had, are all the ones that make up this happy alarm... :)
