Video editing learning... (12th of November)

Waking up at 6ish is such a hard time =3= I seriously couldn't bear with the sleepiness I had in the morning. But yes, I had a pretty good day I have to say. Oh yeh, btw I had this super horrible dream which it left me scar after some friends of mine and I trapped in an office where we were surrounded by dead bodies. Later, this person asked each of us to swallow a piece of glass if we wanted to get out of there >.> Anyways my legs are still painful like hell from all those workout and jogging in these two days. I sort of walked like a crab when I intended to go downstairs at the train station =3= Plus I saw this man at his 50's in rocker-stylish leather jacket performing somewhere close to the train station. His performance was seriously THAT bad...which I was totally awaken right after I heard his bass...And and and and and I was close to trip over by something on my way to AIT....Despite the fact that I was overwhelmed by that extreme embarrassment, I tried to act calm by avoiding looking back, just incase anyone would see who I am... >3<

In animation class, I talked to this guy sitting next to me because I didn't know how and what to start as I missed the class from last week. He told me to download this app and learn how to use it before starting shooting the video. So we were allowed to play around with that stop motion app for the whole lesson. In order to make something sync with the music we want to put in our video, we had to think about what patterns we can make from the chosen objects. Since almost everyone around me were using colour pencils, I picked something else.

Casey waved at me as I walked out from the class, I talked to her for a bit. I was trying to learn how to use that app I just downloaded when I was with her. Unfortunately she didn't really quite know. But we had a great time chatting about our holidays and such, including my uni exam period which she felt sorry for me.

I didn't do much in that two hours whilst waiting for my second lesson. All I did was to browse around our animation blog, get myself familiarized with the app, and waiting for an adviser to answer my phone call from that c place for almost an hour and a half. To ensure that any education update was approved by the system or else my payment would be suspended, I asked him whether they have received my update request. And he also wished me a good luck before ending the class as I told him to extend my graduation period to next year.

Btw thanks for sharing that lovely article with me. Which is true, a relationship can only be stable when two people are independent, and know we should keep changing for the better rather than expect more from the other.

Screen editing class was awesome. I've learned quite a few more skills in editing the videos from premiere pro, such as the 'leading' and 'kerning' for text, as well as I was taught there were more methods for 'in and out' thingy. Also, I like all the background stories he told us, such as the one for Star war in which they are still using this filmic technique as a trademark for their film series. Even though film industry no longer find circle iris and square iris as that suitable to put into other films anymore. Apart from this, he also said film fade could replace other fading effects if there are more than one layer at a certain point. And that is also the only fading effect can be used for not affecting other layers when the bottom layer producing that effect.

I hurriedly to get home because I've got something up after answering her urgent phone call. After solving everything for her, I started to learn something new from after effects by watching the tutorial videos. I got to know the way to remove object from the video is similar to how we do it with photoshop, except that clone stamp tool must follow with a tracker tool, and later to adjust the hardness and such.

And we still haven't decided which film(s) we will be choosing for this Jap film fest this Saturday. Well...it was too late anyways, we would make up our mind by tomorrow night :)
