Looking after the stall has made me happier because I gotta meet new members
and reconnect with the old ones
It was awkward in the beginning as I arrived
two volunteers asked whether I would like to join PH
I told them I'm le director of the society
they sorta gave me this dumbfounded face and pointed me at where the stall was
I walked towards it
a guy was looking at me and asking if I would like to join the society
I was thinking that it should be the PH stall from where they were standing
I then once again said I worked for the society as a director
that moment froze for more than 10 seconds til I realised went to the wrong stall
of not knowing PH stall was actually sharing the booth with Oxfam society...
after that awkwardness from a mistake I made
I tried to break the ice by taking a quiz from them lmao
anyhow I talked to two Kevin(s) a lot
the fundraising and events ones
also to Millie whom I just found out she's at the same age as me
no wonder we feel so close
like we both think that we are already out of that age to do crazy things
we are getting old
we talked about sleeping patterns and qualities
jobs and all
these are showing that we care more for life than fun lol...
btw thanks for that voucher Millie
I've been thinking a lot for career expo and all
hence before I went to sleep
I spent some time planning out things I'd do in steps
which I kind of confuse myself in a way
because now PH promotions, Vhub, career expo, the attempt to apply for internship
my wish to go RSP by learning Nuke or internship from AIT
just everything which I try to make myself progress faster and more valuable
has made me feel overwhelmed...
but thanks for dar dar's encouragement
I truly was moved by the advice he has given
like how I should be clearer to what I want
and not to be sidetracked by doing something which won't help with my career much
I learned, and I still am learning....
