The first scene in the early morning has warmed up my heart...
From that second of worriment on that oldie's face
as he couldn't find his wifey at the platform
yelling at her name, looking for her everywhere as if he lost her
I sensed the love is floating in the air
lucky his wifey was just right there on the top looking for him at the same time
til these two met
hugged like haven't seen each other for a century
I almost held my tears watching this beautiful drama alike scene..
The documentary for the class today was the Grizzly man
a bear enthusiast who got mauled by the bear
and died brutally like almost 10 years back then
the film has centered on the procedural investigation of his death beside looking into his own clips
of recording the wildlife
Herzog called his work as the glorious moment of cinema
it really is
except that the Grizzly man's craziness that got himself for being killed was foolish enough
But admittedly, he does have the talent in speaking and filming
anyways
I was more focus on the film's figurative meaning
rather than viewing it from a documentary perspective...
and that I got what George's definition of how the Grizzly man is actually
a reflection of cinema itself
this chosen subject really is, at some points, or almost every point it makes
is attributed to a certain role it's in
it is not only a subject being judged or observed
but more than a case study for the audience to see their own reflection both from and within it
oh and...
me going Coles with somebody once I finished my classes...
and we played that game together for my own sake
with a higher level master guiding my way towards a better future
I already see the hope out there lol
