Can't believe I fell asleep in the library before having my seminar, so I ended up sleeping on the bean bag for 2 hours straight...Lucky Karen fb me when it was almost 12, I went all the way to the lower campus just to meet up with this girl. You know how long it took me to go from main library to law library? Almost 20 minutes....Pretty much that one hour break time was gone after I went back and forth...
She was staying at there with her friend while studying a bit when I went to see her. Her friend is a cool girl, that's all I know. Her jacket is the type I like...It would have been a good time if I went there earlier because I had to go back to upper campus in 15 minutes...
Sitting at the front was the best choice I made, I didn't fall asleep this whole time. My brain reacted fast in the first 40 minutes. To make everything easy to remember in my own way, I created some interesting dot points from every slide to catch up with lecturer's speedy explanation. However, the second 40 minutes something popped up on my phone, and it started to draw my attention away by making me have this deep thinking moment when the lecture was getting up to the part of R2P...
Once again after the lecture, I bumped into Karen on my way to the library. She was standing there and looking around, as if she was hesitatingly waiting for something. I patted her at the back asking what's wrong. She pointed at the stall where it's right next to the library and saying that she wanted to get the sausage...I went lol...just get it then...She gave me this innocent face and saying she's scared...Waiting her to make up her mind was like a challenging task for me. But as a friend, I could only push her to do something. All in a sudden I felt like I was responsible for taking care of this first year, I went up to get her the sandwich. They said no to me after I admitted that I ain't a student from the education faculty. So I tried...After a while of waiting, she finally got her sausage sandwich by her own...We then had a small chat about first year. This girl came to us asking about how she found first year. Guessing she was a postgraduate who wanted to help out newbies.
I didn't get to study because of Karen>3> That half of hour was perfectly planned to revise the lecture notes of the lecture I just had, but I got no time for that as it was time for me to meet up with Natalie who was already standing at the main gate and waiting for me. We went to this Malay restaurant on the same street for our afternoon tea? It was supposed to be an afternoon tea...But never thought that we had this non-stoppable epic talk that made us stay there for 3 hours...During the time we were still picking what to eat, both of us spent a decent amount of time staring at the menu. In the meantime, I was the one always brought up some interesting experiences related to food and such, which made it even more distracted for us to pick the dishes.
If I seriously want to write what we talked about in that 3 hours...This post would have exceeded 1000 words...Well....To streamline the most interesting facts I found from her, such as how she felt about her uni life compare to Hongkong, the filmic values, techniques etc we both have in common, scary encounters etc...I really wish I could have known her much earlier. She is really a good friend. My ideal type of friend...
Anyway...the links that someone shared was worth my time reading them. I could relate to that farewell article as well as that mummy article because those moments happened to me as well. I mean, how many tons of tears can you weigh for saying goodbye to the one you love? Maybe crying silently is the most heartbroken fact that depression is felt, but not seen...And it's so true to notice the person we look for the most as we enter the house, is mum. She's forever there for you, be your shelter, and any forms that she can possibly take JUST for you like nobody else can and will. My last word to this post is...love the one who you should love...Don't forget to talk to mama more :)
PS: not getting to finish my plan, but you know what? Somebody's busy tomorrow...That means I've got a whole day to do the rest...
PS1: Great choice to study for liberalism...Love this topic..
