Splendid day with all my lovely members, helpers and the participants
Our deadly race was successfully held with over 100 potential participants
even during such a rainy day, there still were 80+ people coming
For those 20+ people, sorry, we don't do refund
all your money will go directly to the underprivileged children in China :)
Morning started with that random meet-up with another 3 helpers, and our dear president (a god damn player....)
I should blame myself for trusting this one so much
means that I actually gave off some hints during the trip to UNSW
as he asked how many checkpoints we have around UNSW
I told him supposedly one, but now two because of the terrible weather
Lucky Shannon stopped me from exposing more information
or else I would be the biggest spoiler of the day...
I had a lovely time with Wandi on the bus chatting about how much she has to endure from taking biomedical engineering
Since she told me she already has felt the pain for studying her courses
she was moved how much I understood her
that's only because I also had gone through a bit of that when doing dar dar's thesis....
Several times of roaming around the quad while waiting for everyone to come
Jennifer and I were having quite a great fun experimenting the lighting and such for photo taking
So many participants I saw, were those I had seen at welcome BBQ
so I was no surprised to see their faces again...

who yelled at everybody at the top of her lungs

if there was only a speaker....
I sort of started worrying the well being of other executives
oh wait, I ain't the president or VP here
they should be the ones worrying us
but anyways, just by hearing that out-of-tune-witch-like-high-pitched-hurtful words coming out from her mouth
asking everybody to go to either side they belong...
was already too much fun laughing my ass off...
And I guess...after Damian's speech to explain to everybody what to do for the deadly race
including the first checkpoint
everyone was ready to race
with their lightning speed
btw I really disagreed with those exec who joined the race
you know, this is another way of cheating
it is the worst scenario to cheat to be honest....
Our lovely participants including Annie, the grey jacket one who's from fundraising...
Wish them luck...I mean they should have been so proud of themselves to complete the whole race
it is an inhumane race designated for the tough ones hahahaha
I love checkpoint 2 at Tyree
where you needed to pass the paper to your other team mates with mouth
while jumping in a black rubbish bag like a joey
Soon I captured this image with that attempt to do a love heart between them for god sake
I mean, so much love donated to such a cute couple (no, they ain't couple lol)
You know what, photographers ain't easy at all
it was way harder than what you had thought it would be
especially, we weren't just carrying a camera, but holding the umbrella
plus we had to look for every checkpoint just like every other contestants did
and of course, we gotta be so much faster to reach each destination than most of the contestants
or at least ahead of half of the people
just to take good pictures.........
Jennifer and I both were looking for the places located everywhere at CBD
I almost lost my mind for seeking a particular spot in such some big areas
If you asked how I really felt
I would tell you, I wanted to get paid
not with love, but with real values or luxuries lol
Lucky we weren't followed by anyone in the beginning
We tried to keep ourselves low profile in the first place
you might never know how stalker-ish others would do just to win a prize lol
Well, but you know, greed, it drives you to do something sneaky xD
oh yeh, this checkpoint 3 or 4 (think it's 4) was to eat crackers lol
not that easy easy as to eat crackers of course
crackers were placed on your forehead and you had to slide them to an exact proper direction
leading it to where your mouth is
easy enough?
some people still failed though

checkpoint 9 was awesome as hell
weird shots were waiting for the participants to try
there were good or bad ones mixed
if you are lucky enough, you might have picked the good ones
if not, you gotta bear with it like a boss

the rule was to pull a straight face after you drink it
and to identify what drink it is
if you got it wrong
have another weird shot....AGAIN...

I really was impressed of their bravery

or wasabi they put in some cups...
almost kill me from laughing by seeing their twisted faces lmaoo....

So I gotta admit that I couldn't find checkpoint 10 ^
the whip cream donut game...another most photo worthy place...
I missed out that...totally
Mind you that I actually was looking for that place for half an hour
with my 1% left battery phone, had no clues in finding it from Botanic garden
eventually....like no eventually....didn't end up getting there at all

they are like one of the greatest fan for PH hahaha

listened to a few members chatting about the cartoons they watched in their childhood
also some were teased by B
some were on drug high rambling
some suddenly were adopted by our event director
some, like our table were taking pictures
having K hotpot, AND BBQ at the same time
celebrating our post-race happiness...
I haven't been in a huge group gathering for so long
I made a few friends like Puni, Ronald and Michelle
and got teased by Yvonne and the rest much earlier (while waiting for the P to be back)
no other words to describe how my day was filled up with laughter, jokes, events, people, challenges
eventful day only brings you with more energy (not really...It's just a saying...I'm deadly tired atm..)
PS: minor argument with dar dar the dearest..
his way to solve problem makes me feel so safe though :)
