I guess I should quickly adjust my nap nap time after 4pm because it seriously affects my efficiency for the day. I didn't get to update my blog posts from my schedule, but one thing was done is I have received the response from AIT in which one of the ladies called me this afternoon, asking me to go to the info night as well as the free course session next week. There is a guarantee here offering me with on-hands experiences from my chosen field with a flexible timetable for learning, plus I can take it as a part time. Perfect~
To my excitement, I went on their official website to search for further information. And I have browsed around their AIT blog, which is about some resources and tips of each course that can be utilized later on. I am getting to know more about what media really is from its explicit representation of both examples theoretically and practically. But then again, I am still quite unsure what area I should be specialized in since Media, is a broad term, consisting variety of things such as television, film, web, games. Also media can be classified as two types, interactive and digital. Anyways...I shouldn't worry too much now but to reach my first goal this year that I set for myself-getting the certificate within a year or two, edit my portfolio and learn more programs
Oh and I have done some research about finger nails and palms which can be reflecting your health in a way As I am always being told by the older generation. especially my mum, who asks me not to touch with people that are with grey/yellow nails, purple or red palms because they might have contagious diseases. Also I have checked some events that are happening next week so I can go travelling alone this time with my mymulti ticket>.> That has bothered mum and I for half an hour whether I should get a mymulti ticket tomorrow, but I try to make the fullest of the entire week since I am going out tomorrow, the day after, Sunday for the parade, Monday for the free courses session and Wednesday for the info night, plus I am taking Tuesday according to my own travelling plan. ok enough of my serious talk.... so.....mum's been so happy after she came back home btw, she has told me quite a bit of what happened to her classmates and the amazing or shocking stories she heard from them. This is all about life, she has shown me that she has a life these days since she starts school :) I am happy for her to be this interactive and energetic, even has became more interested in trying to cook new dishes with the recipes her classmates have given her.
We talked and joked so much for the night. I have actually felt this Chinese new year's eve atmosphere filled up my house. I haven't felt in this way for so long when she was still busy working the past 4 years. But now 2014 is really a good beginning for both of us to start a new life, to me, is more like a turning point before I turn 22.
Le fatty called us from oversea, I was more than excited to receive his calls this time. I told him what I have planned for this year. But more importantly, I wish him having a great Chinese new year's eve. I miss him even more during this spring festival as it's meant to be a festival for family gathering yet half of my family is miles away. That part has always been missing, and I try to put it back together by talking to him more, making that connection between us and hoping that we are this close, just like back in the time when I was still 12 years old, the first time I left the mainland. Tonight, he handed the phone to my granny(dad's side) who sounded a bit unwell when she talked to us. The only thing I remember was her chuckle. She chuckled to almost everything she said, but I felt really happy to hear that kind of happiness since I haven't talked to her for so long. Later on, my cousin talked to me on qq, asking me if we could webcam because granny(mum's side) was right next to him. Mum recorded 10 minutes of granny when she was talking. My cousin showed me his baby girl, my niece who also has large eyes with a tricky looking face. And my uncle who stood behind finally showing his face after my cousin left for work, he greeted me with red pockets lool However, granny said I look chubbier for some reason=.= Like oh god.....oh no.....For her generation, she likes me being chubbier as it shows a sign of healthiness...
Panpan was busy making something for me in the past 2 or 3 hours I assumed. So my new year's gift is a post-card-like ps image :3 He has put one of our couple photos on the left side and trim it to a sort of egg shape with obvious eraser-ish border. His writing is on the left side where it says he wishes me to have a good time blah blah blah. And the background is an abstractive figure, yes..must be the horse. It is a special gift as this is my first time to receive a gift that has always been made by me for others, but this time, I am the recipient. Role change. Thanks for all the efforts you have put in making a special gift for me in this special day. Oh another surprise was his new haircut once I saw him from the webcam tonight lool New look, new side-face but still that handsome side-face I like :3 hehehe
Mum has also given me a big surprise haha hmmm reason why I call it big is because.....it was mum who gave my red pockets xDD >.> So I said to her why not just keep everything in secret instead of telling me how much she'd be giving me by 12 tonight this afternoon, as she told me she didn't have smaller notes to put in the red pockets, and asked me if I mind about receiving a hundred bucks note=.= Like come on....You have already given off everything so she has made a surprise not a surprise anymore=.= But then again....By the time it reached 12, she gave me this unexpected red pocket...Let me tell you how unexpected it was..I pressed it before I actually opened it, I felt that it was so light and guessed it might be only $10. Then I opened it, found that there was another red pocket inside. I took the smaller red pocket out, opened it. There was nothing inside>.> 'SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR MWAHHHHHH' >.> Yup...that's my mum....She then asked me to look for my gift around in my room. I went back to my room, searched everywhere and ended up being recorded by mum, who intentionally recorded this glorious moment of me seeking for treasure or something..Finally found those two red pockets with money inside under my blanket. As she said, those two red pockets are represented as le fatty and her. This is partially the culture of my family even though one person is not physically there to share our fun and happiness...
