Info night :) (5th of Feb)

Before info night started at AIT, I took mum to that shop for 2 hours as she wanted to get something for me. It was just so hard for women to choose one item among a great deal of glittering accessories in a shop..=.= She ended up getting me two rings and an earring :3 After that, we ate some hot dogs at that cafe which is near the cinema at Townhall.

On our way to AIT, she went on complaining how far my future college is lool The people there are so friendly, the girl who talked to me on the phone recognised me at once when I told her my name at the reception. She then led my mum and I to a room where she could talk to me alone quietly. Mum was sitting there smiling at how friendly she is. She has learned about everything I wanted to achieve by enrolling one of the programs at AIT. And she'd love to help me to reach my goal, so she gave me lots of tips, also suggested me to pick one of the specialisations under the program of diploma of digital media technologies. I was super perplexed in the beginning since a lot of information from what she said has to be digested for a short period of time lol But even mum, who has been watching this the whole time, likes the environment here, as it's more like a studio from the design of their architecture. I was amazed of their interactivity with students one by one, and the presentation was impressively awesome. They even invited the prop designer who worked for 'Star war' to give us a talk in half an hour, and another girl who used to study in here, now has became the lecturer to teach graphic design and film making skills. The projects they showed on the screen were all from the students in the past, one of theirs was even close to the international level which I usually see from the movies.

Once the presentation was over, I asked her how she thought about my future college. She actually thought the same way as I did when I came here a few days ago. At AIT, you are somebody, no longer a nobody because connection between people are built through frequent interactivity daily, that is, with much less people here, and more chance to see particular people. The marketing team such as two of them I talked to today, Cindy and Evelyn who have answered all of my questions, are also one of those great helpers who effectively work for students' welfare.

Positive attitude she had for AIT has made me reaffirm my commitment for the courses I will be taken in here soon :) Now there is only one step away to have my place of belonging...See you soon AIT, really really soon!!
