AIT isn't that far but I wish, it will be much closer T___T It's 15 to 20 minutes walk, but really depends on the speed you walk...The first thing of that free course session was a presentation from one of the lecturers there, telling us some facts about media industry and its trend is inclined to be demanded even more nowadays since everything is related to media. This reflection has given us so much more hope in this brighter future and hence, I already had this good vibe before we started our free courses for the day. Later on, a lady toured us around the whole college. It's a small college yet gives you a comfortable feeling because it isn't crowded with people, and the larger space allows you to have more physical activities with your mates. Also, everyone here gets to know each other, get closer as we can talk to each other frequently unlike in uni, we are all nobody.
After the tour, we were directed to a room where it accommodates more than 20 people. I was sitting with two people who seem to be at their early 30's. Just like every lesson we have for a course, we introduced ourselves a bit, telling everyone around the class why we choose this course for, what we want to achieve by attending this course, and a bit of interesting personal info. During the whole 3 hours we had before lunch break, Sammy, the teacher gave us a task to do, but before that, she taught us how to do it by showing a sample of hers from her own folder. I've never been using computer for several hours in any of my courses, so obviously, you can say that this course does do hands-on projects. I had too much fun creating my own music video in the entire afternoon. Especially she taught us how to use every tool on adobe premiere pro step by step, and letting us to be innovative to choose the materials to add on our own work. I didn't export my work at the end as I wasn't that satisfied with something that I've only done in several hours. But this will be one of my really wise choices to be made, I love the way they teach, which is mainly based on building your portfolio and giving you much more opportunities to see what can be done with your creativity. :)
PS: I was maddened by somebody's forgetfulness, or ignorance when he seemed like he didn't care about my birthday tomorrow :S
