The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.

changes (26th of April)
I went to a new place today with Joyce because I really needed someone to talk to. It was only a casual catch up for her but it actually meant a lot to me. Trackwork caused both of us late for almost an hour, much later than when we planned to meet up. I enjoyed being with her in every second. We chatted, we went to different stores to shop for her autumn clothing. She tried them on, I was on the side giving her some advice. To her persuasion, I also tried on something she recommended. But I don't think our taste is matched, I don't go for boyish style that much anymore, and she still does. At the end of the day before she headed home, we took some photos in front of the mirrors while some passers-by were watching us. Not feeling embarrassed or anything, we had our fun moments showing how happy we appreciated each other's presence. At night, I had dinner with another friend at Central. He hasn't changed much except that he has grown a bit maturer because I once told him that he'd look better if he could be a bit maturer. Catching up with a friend who you haven't seen for almost a year is one of the greatest things in life, same as everyone else, we talked about what has happened to both of us, what has been bothering us etc, just anything that you can think of. The really last thing I need to mention here is how our lives will be changed under the federal government. We are getting to see what's really on the table from the case which our generation has to start working for another 3 years, that is, workers aren't allowed to retire til 70 years old. Secondly, a small amount of payment $6 will be applied soon whenever people visit a GP. Thirdly, people will be easier to be a bigot because of some changes of racial discrimination act...If you want to know more, go and check them up yourself... I just feel really disappointed to this country believing how all these changes will enormously impact on our community and make so many citizens harder to live...Australia...what have you done here? Are you really helping us?
