Yes I woke up at 5ish this time just to finish my really last minute screenplay that is due a few hours later lol.. I knew that I'd be late again for my Wednesday lecture so I asked Seri to sign my name when it was close to 9am. Naughty brother then said I'd owe him 3 milk tea...lool Not remembering what time exactly I got to Central, but I was blocked by a Chinese oldie who came up to me and asked where to get to a particular street in Hurstville when I was rush to AIT. I then told him this is city and that he had to catch the train to go to Hursy. Without knowing which street that is in Hurstville from his written note, I felt bad that I couldn't really help a lost person that much. Funny how I didn't notice Kael was just standing there 1 meter away from me and waiting to cross the road when I was talking to that oldie until he greeted me lool>.> I was more surprised that he had to go back home and get his celtx file as he saved the wrong thing into his usb..
By the time when I arrived at AIT, the first half of the lecture was almost finished. Then Tia who was in the computer room waved at me before I was going to go to my lecture. Mind you she skipped the lecture too but she wasn't the only one. Some people that I saw were supposed to go to same lecture as I did, were all jigging to do their own work. So I walked in the room where she was, and she needed help to save her celtx work. I guess online celtx is really different?
I showed Tia my hard copy which she spotted one error I made. I forgot to put a dot next to parenthetical of off screen god damn it=.= But yeah...even Seri laughed at my silliness of being so careless>.> I was sitting with Seri in the second lecture the whole time. He then showed me what he made for his animation project which is a weirdly shaped cat. I couldn't tell what it is if he didn't get its body fixed >.> Before I left for my second class, I waved at him saying bye, he ignored me the first time, then I shouted at him at the front saying how impolite he is to his sister, he then realised I was saying bye to him. Before he waved back at me, there is this white guy sitting at the front waved at me saying bye and everyone just laughed their heads off...
So today throughout the lesson of digital images, we were taught how to retouch the face using photoshop. Yes, you've guessed it right. This is one of the most usable method for girls these days to beautify their faces in an image by removing pimples and smoothen their skin using photoshop. Helen taught us how to use several tools such as patch tool, simple and fast. But after all, to make a face looks natural, you need to flexibly choose the right tool to cover the flaws the previous one left.
pre-production class was full of fun. In lab class, we are always allowed to move around like today, the whole lesson was just for those ones who haven't finished their screenplay, the rest of us didn't even need to come. But I was just one of them that care for my attendance so I did stay for the whole lesson. My friend Gold was there painting his coffee cup cover while I was searching for some samples of how to do a storyboard. My new friend Carson sat next to me doing nothing but talking to me for an hour. He told me that he got his offer from Macq but refused it all because uni doesn't seem like a right choice for him. Like the rest of us who come to AIT, it's our creative mind that pushes us to do something different. Well, in the meantime, it's the practicality AIT has here that many of us believe this is a right place to reach our goals. Carson's friend called me an expert for helping him with his screenplay last time. As he didn't go to the lecture this morning again, he came up to me and asked if I could explain how to do a storyboard..Knowing how time-consuming storyboard is going to take to finish, I suggested him to invite his friends to be the actors so he could save hassles. Then Pai came to me 20 minutes before the class finished, she asked if we could do it together next week after classes. Collaboration is the best hahaha
Anyways now my friend Gold has gradually become my idol lol He's one of the oldest friends I've ever known and close to. (After today's almost 3 hours of talking, we just have shared so much....this is what an ideal friend should be like, an experienced, mature guy that knows a lot and can help me in so many areas)I was told that he did the military service before but didn't know he was in airforce department for 2 years until today. That's something new to know. And because that I am highly interested in any air force related jobs, I got to know a lot from him who told me quite a lot of things that all of us may not know. He even told me some codes such as the geographical locations that he had to remember for the sake of any emergency might have occurred. As he was there for two years, he was a part of their team that handled most of the problems when North Korea airplane crossed the boundary of South Korea. I got to know so much more history from those hidden facts between North and South Korea from him. I used to think that South Korean has this snobby attitude toward North Korean until he told me that they actually feel pitiful to them who live in such a poverty. It was quite interesting by talking about their physical practices such as they were locked in a room full of chemicals to experience the pain they'd possibly get from that weakest chemical weapon. Even without skin corrosion or even worse situation they might experience, staying in such a place for 5 minutes is painful enough to have that extreme moment of hell. Apart from all those things from air force department, this guy knows how to use so many softwares. When I asked him each one of their function, he clearly described some particular tools and suggested me to use which software for what purpose or need. Like geezzzz man....How could you be so pro....I mean that a few hours of talking have let me discover sooooooo much...Then he showed me his personal website and blog. Most of computer people, should have learned CC language and should be able to make a website. He has proved this. That official website of his seems quite professional in a sense and the exhibition of his artworks are so abstract. That's one thing we both are in common, mind you that I like abstract artworks as well. Anyways, he LIKES blogging too!!! He updates his blog every now and then when he feels like expressing his thought. Knowing him is one of the happiest things recently, I mean, he stays with me for couple hours and waits for me to finish my tut task, helps me to fix any problems I have. But most importantly is that he IS sooooo intelligent, almost have everything I want from a friend!! OK....I am getting too excited here....
I told mum about him when I got home. She said, now you know the benefit of having a maturer friend? I always like to be friend with maturer people as you can learn a lot from them. Oh btw...forgot to say Gold got the same result as I in pre-production O.O Anyways....She was patiently listening to what I think about all my friends. It was more of an analysis of what each person is like in my point of view...At late night, I have read some articles before I went to sleep. Craving for extra knowledge is one necessary thing to do in life. Knowledge is just something you will go no where without it. Of course, a blank canvas is to be filled with different types of colours (knowledge) including those from other people you meet in your life's journey, there will always be excitement no matter what...
