Starting from the first second I woke up in the morning, I already felt that it'd be a good day today. It was true that I made it on time, or even a bit earlier to get to Central. I went to ask around Opal card and bought one upstairs with 20 bucks.
Somebody said I've added too much elements into my design, so I had to redo some parts again. It's fine as none of us really understand what she wants. But one thing I'm sure is that she wants most of our design to be simple. I had no inspiration throughout the whole damn hour though. With Gold, Mickey and Tia sitting around me doing theirs, I started to browse google to look for some resources to set my idea straight. Towards the end of the second class, I talked to Casey about her work. She chose the right and easy theme to work on, the season is easily to break down as 4 sub-themes. All you need to do is to imagine the atmosphere relates to each season. It doesn't have to be a definite solid shape or object...whereas mine...yes...I changed my idea eventually all because it has been too challenging and time-consuming if I really work on it. Even with Pai's help, her helpfulness did give me some ideas on how to improve my work, I still didn't think it'd be a wise choice to continue with. And yes, Mickey's work is not closely related to each other, they don't seem like they're from the same set of design as each of them represents individual concept and pattern. It's hard to see them as an unity. Thanks for Nelson's advice, but I did help him a bit in return too...
Oh and lunch with all my AIT mates was a good time after class, as usual. 2 Koreans, 2 Thai and 2 Chinese as if we were having a division when each of us was sitting the opposite with our own mate...lol And Nelson thanks for telling me something about muscles...I wish your 6 packs are growing soon :)
Getting back to uni where I met my 3 new group mates for that language exchange program, I had my afternoon tea on the bus. Tao and Takuya senpai, yay....So lucky to be paired with senpai, this great performer used to be in our jap lecture, as well as our lovely jap assistant in both of my tut and seminar, so how can I not recognize his face when I at least saw him 2 or 3 times a week? It's my honour to have this good looking senpai in our group. Of course, it was so damn happy to see Tao as well, the one that talks to me heaps since we added each other a few days ago. I became hell talkative taking all my chances to speak and entertain people. Even when Horace, our third group member came 10 minutes later, I tried to be friendly by saying I thought he was a girl from his name written on the form. We all laughed so much having so much fun in interacting each other. Then we went to look for seats from level 4 and 10, where we couldn't find any, I mean, we didn't want to disturb other people studying for being so loud...I wasn't really leading them, but I seemed like I was when all of them put me to the front...Til then, we decided to walk back to outside and found a table to talk for another half an hour. We got to know each other quite well in that half an hour for being super sociable. So Takuya'll be attending this conference in Hongkong this year, this is the reason why he wants to learn Cantonese. The three of us were joking about our own language and topic shifted to courses we are currently doing somehow. Btw, I bumped into Karen at the library before when we were looking for the seats, her innocent face stared at three of them behind me, and I awkwardly introduced them with a look of here-are-my-friends-I-JUST-MET....
Anyways...We really wish Horace didn't have to go at 3 so we could talk more. But Takuya and Tao were nice enough to stay for another half an hour with me :) Once again, I can't wait to get my shits done in the early morning so I can meet up with them at 3 tomorrow, oh, as well as the launch dinner thingy at 6pm....seeee you guys realllllll soooonnnnnnn....
After the group meeting, I went to help out my society, the stall was just next to the library where they were selling the rice cake. I approached them and said if they needed some help. I spent that half an hour helping them to make a few boxes til Liwen came, she happily found me there to help, came to me, and talked to me a lot of plans about our promotional video because we've got too much to prepare. She told me to make a mini promotional one as well as the full version one. Then Sinclare came to film our great fundraising coordinator :3 Sooooo happy to see my group member, my Sinclare is such a charming one that her smile is so cute that makes me happy....
However, it was time for me to go back home....I had my wonderful journey back home with an apple, a yogurt and some newspapers...To finish reading the newspaper, I spent another 1 hour sitting in front of that Asian store. Btw...this act of atrocity is really disgusted....Can't believe another US journalist got beheaded today....What is belief? What is humanity? ....
PS: Happiness extended to dinner time with mum when we exchanged our awesome day with each other. She was damn happy today as well, but not as happy as I, who kept on appraising the group mates I met, all these conincidences I told her and the good feelings I got from knowing them, talking to them, and being good friends with them. Our film fest plan this coming weekend...cannot wait....
PS1: Illustrator isn't working tonight so I couldn't even do my work which I planned to get most of it done =3=...shit happens...My friend Nelson was trying to help me and we ended up encouraging each other to do some necessary work that are due tomorrow...Even with my software failure, I wasn't that frustrated for not being able to do something I want. This might be the belief I have in me, and the motivation I get from this friendship power...AND AND AND AND AND my overly epic day with everything I did, and everyone I met....
Please stay with good mood :)
