Mini trip - Taronga zoo (26th of July)

Somebody was real late...really really late for the first time ever we went Taronga zoo. I wasn't mad at all though he just woke up by the time I called him. Lucky I didn't catch the earlier train or else I could have waited even longer. We texted a lot during the time I waited him at that platform at Circular Quay in this cold weather. However, I didn't get to spank his ass as he came. Mean panpan didn't even let me punish him for being late...

So we didn't get on the ferry on time as he was still getting his breakie at the entrance. We waited for another 20 minutes sitting there while he was chewing his food. He should be so unhappy that I made him drop his prawns for several times. As the ferry finally came, I picked two seats inside where mine was next to the window so I could watch the morning views....

.............

Our journey today started with his one silly question asking if I wanted to take a photo with the sign 'Taronga zoo'. Yes, there is actually nothing wrong with that except that I found it so funny to imagine myself standing at the entrance and having this two-finger victory asian pose if we really did take that kind of photo. >.> Anyways he's my tour guide for the entire day apparently. He should lead this lost kid around :3 We didn't get to get in the Koala encounter in the first place because it closed. But then, we got into this place where it exhibits a variety of little mice and possums. It was a dark eerie circular room where you had to be sneaky enough for not scaring them away if for any photo taking purposes. I waited for several great chances to capture the best moments of some really cute creatures. Yet they either showed their butts at me or turned around, ran away or hid from the logs. Although cute little things really worth of me watching, I got freaked out for once when little mice jumped right in my face. I immediately landed my butt to the floor without my hands supported. You see how scared I am to mice though there is a thick glass in between the little creatures and I? But lucky that my embarrassing moment wasn't recorded by panpan>3<

And birds everywhere in that wet land or whatever land that is. You walked through this door where you can't open the next door til the previous one is closed. Funny how I couldn't open the door as panpan once kept the previous one open..=3= It's not surprised to see some weird animals. The only thing I was more surprised was the seal show we watched. Every zoo must have this seal show so whichever zoo I go to, I'd make my own evaluation towards each of them and compare to one another. I really had to say this one has surpassed my expectation when they have trained the seal for not only doing the skills required, but also the humorous faces they are taught to do for entertaining purposes. There is something different from the ones I watched before, the way they made the performance become more like a storytelling with so much more information about seal, this animal, accompanied by this animal itself to act the whole story out in the purpose of educating the spectators.

Other than this, the bird show has reminded me of what I did in my childhood. The time when I did the same thing as that birthday girl today, except that I was so small to give coin to the little birdie, my whole face went twisted as the bird approached me, and this, was captured by the camera...Panpan's favourite, the owls must have been the ones he took most of the pictures of.

There was a huge river to separate the spectators from the chimpanzees as we were told that they are a bunch of dangerous animals. Not to mention how violent they could become so it'd be better to keep distance away from them. As we've seen the sign of the shortest sun bear is 150cm, panpan teased me for being as short as the shortest sun bear knowing I am only taller than them a few cm(s)...He then asked me to stand next to the measurement for taking a picture of me with the similar height...

Penguins will be the ones I like the most. I should say that this was seriously my first time to watch penguins in real life. I already felt god damn pleased by watching this little cute things spreading their little wings and swimming across the man-made ocean freely. Their little fluffy belly made me have this urge to tickle them...>3< I was really enjoying staying in that mini aquarium :3 Panpan once again took out his phone, and started to record...yes....recording me blabbering something I can't remember. The only thing I still remember now is that my cheekbones are as huge as Maleficent when I watched back my video. Also he made me say that magic I wub panpan bb boo for the second time of recording >3< It was fun though, doing recordings in the zoo...That's not all, our third recording was in my koala land, where we went all the way back just for that. That was the best moment of the day as I got to stay with my own kind, recorded them and was being truly a korara :3 He introduced this trait of korara which they look permanently drunk >.>...

Towards the end of the day, it was time to go back to Circular Quay. Indecisive me picked a restaurant at darling harbour having our little romantic dinner for the night. Even without creating a certain degree of romance there, we had our silent romantic moment having kangaroo meat, money bags and holy duck. Reason why we picked holy duck was only for how they name it. Btw the glasses are something new to know for me, I've never seen any glasses used in the restaurant like that. The first time I thought it'd fall til the waitress made me realise that it's even safer than the normal glass from its stand.

Somebody was damn sleepy once we got on the train though. In order not to wake him up, I listened to my own music and let him get home early tonight. But you know, illusion does happen right? He still always have been dreaming trains coming along when we were waiting for his next train...I already told him for so many times that his train hasn't arrived yet. He just never believed me.... :3
